Unlike our competitors we offer a full configuration, installation, delivery and training service and have trained individuals able to provide telephone support to customers. These options can be tailored to suit each individual customer dependent upon their needs. Core Features
The WideTEK® 36ART scanner offers contactless scanning, perfect for delicate artworks such as pastels or charcoal. The camera’s are fixed and the table moves beneath them offering scans up of up 36 x 60inches, with the optional table extension this increases to 36 x 87.6inches.High Resolution Scanning
This model takes advantage of CCD technology, utilising a light source, mirrors, lens and image sensors to deliver high resolution scans up to 600 x 600dpi optical resolution. The scanner is able to scan images in a multitude of formats including TIFF, JPEG and PDF.Variable Focus
The design of the WideTEK 36ART allows the camera box within the housing to move up and down meaning the focal point of the 3 camera’s can be adjusted. This is especially useful for highly textured pieces of art. It benefits from a maximum scan height of 4 inches.
Anti-Reflective Setting
The anti reflective setting allows delicate artwork to be scanned through glass, meaning artwork does not have to be removed from its original frame in order to be reproduced.
Rapid Scan Time
A colour 300dpi scan can be captured at a rate of 42.4 mm/s (21.1 mm/s for a 600dpi scan) and when utilising the 3D feature a colour 300dpi scan can be achieve a capture rate of 21.1 mm/s (10.7 mm/s for a 600dpi scan). As the scanner utilises 2 LED bars there is no warm up time.
The revolutionary 3D scanning mode opens many new opportunities in Fine Art Printing, allowing users to capture paper surface textures, art materials such as acrylic and oil and any other textured pieces to give the perception of depth.
The WideTEK 25 has two LED lamps, twice as many as the competition. With the new diffusors, these lamps produce an extremely homogeneous illumination which eliminates all unwanted shadows caused by folds, wrinkles and other distortions of the scanned object.
User Friendly Interface
The user friendly interface is accessed through a web browser meaning that it’s suitable for both PC and Mac users. Alternatively there is an option to scan straight to a USB drive or utilise the built in 15inch colour touchscreen display.
Unmatched Colour Accuracy
The scanner handles 36-bit colour meaning it’s capable of capturing 68 billion colours, after gamma, white and black point correction and other image operations are performed on the 36-bit data, the best 24-bits are outputted. This ensures scans benefit from low noise and rapid transfer whilst ensuring quality is not lost. Whilst extremely colour accurate out of the box, the scanner can be ICC profiled in either Adobe RGB or sRGB colour spaces and produces print ready scans without the need for image manipulation or post processing.
Warranty
All scanners come with a free 1 year RTB warranty with a full parts and labour warranty is also available for up to 5 years.
